The overall characteristics of the 5,161 home-visit nursing agencies included in our study are shown in Table1. The majority of the agencies were established by hospital corporations (39.3%), followed by business corporations (26.9%), social welfare corporations (7.4%), incorporated associations/general incorporated foundations (5.6%), medical associations (5.1%), and nursing associations (2.7%).
